Skate Competitions



General Information

Skate Competitions are an opportunity to push yourself to compete with other skateboarders of similiar skill levels. Competitions at the Columbia SkatePark are offered in three levels; beginner, intermediate and advanced. Each skater has the opportunity to complete two sets in front of the judges. Rascals Skate.Snow.Surf of Ellicott City sponsor the events, and provide prizes including decks, wheels, posters, stickers and other skate gear.
Rules / Fees
 
Registration takes place on the day of the competition.
 
Cost is $10 per contest. Open House Beset Trick Contest is FREE!
 
Parent/Guardian must be present at Registration to sign the registration form and SkatePark waiver. Helmets are required for all skaters. Elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards are recommended. Skaters who do not wear a helmet during their run will be disqualified.

April 2, 2010 - Open House Best Trick Contest
Warmup at 12pm, contest at 1pm

June 21, 2010 - Go Skate Day Skate Contest
Warmup at 6:30pm, contest at 7:30pm

August 15, 2010 - Skate Contest
Warmup at 9am, contest at 10am
