Skateboarders can make the most of their summer by traveling to a different skate park everyday. Skaters will start their first day of camp at Columbia SkatePark, where they will enjoy our 15,000 square feet of ramp and vert skating elements. Campers will spend part of the first day making selections and arrangements for their next four days of skating, picking from a list of pre-approved skate parks. Skaters will come home on the first day of camp with the rest of the week's schedule. Each day, campers will travel to a different skate park, giving them the opportunity to skate on a number of unique ramp elements. In the event of an inclement weather day, the group will travel to an indoor skate park.
Campers should bring a lunch, backpack, water bottle, skateboard, helmet, elbow and knee pads. While our instructors are happy to assist campers with basic skate instruction, this camp is geared towards intermediate and advanced skateboarders. There is no formal instruction offered at this camp. The camp fee includes all transportation and park admission fees. A full waiver form packet, which includes waiver forms from each of the possible skate parks, must be filled out by each parent on the first day of camp. The packet can be downloaded at the bottom of this page, and will also be available on the first day of camp. While the age range of the camp is set for grades 6-10, we will allow younger participants to enroll on a case by case basis, depending on skill level. Please contact us for more information.
