How far in advance do I need to book my child's birthday party?
Birthday parties are booked on a first come, first served basis, in person at the Columbia SportsPark. Birthday party packages must be booked a minimum of 14 days in advance. Depending on scheduling and availability, we may be able to book DIY birthday packages with less notice. We encourage booking as far in advance as possible to ensure you get the date you choose. Can I book the party online?
Not yet… but this feature is coming soon! Currently, all parties must be booked in person at the SportsPark.

What is the rescheduling process in the case of inclement weather?
We will work with you to change the date/time of your party in the case of inclement weather. The staff will do the absolute best to accommodate your request, and on most occasions we are able to change the date/time of the party in response to a poor weather report. If all attempts to reschedule fail, we will issue you a refund of your deposit amount.

What food/drinks are included in the birthday party package?
All SportsPark parties, with the exception of DIY packages, include one slice of pizza per child, 3 pitchers of fountain soda, lemonade, punch, or iced tea, and a personalized birthday cake. Parents are welcome to bring additional snack food items and goodie bags to the party, however, pizza and drinks must be provided by Columbia SportsPark. Additional pizzas can be ordered on the day of the party.

What kinds of pizza and cake are included in the birthday party package?
We serve cheese or one-topping pizzas for our birthday parties. Cakes are ¼ sheet in size and serve groups of up to 20 people. You choose the type of cake, icing and decorations. We also offer themed cakes for an additional charge of $10.

Can I bring my own cake?
SportsPark parties, with the exception of DIY packages, include a ¼ sheet cake. You are more then welcome to bring your own cake, however, there is no discount for doing so. If you would like a discounted rate, please see our DIY packages, which do not include food or beverages.

I am a CA member/resident. Can I use my membership to book a non-member at a discounted rate?
Please note that any member or resident discounts are based on the membership/resident status of the child. If the child is not on your membership plan or does not have a resident card, then non-member rates apply.

My child has food allergies; will this be a problem with booking a party at the Sports Park?
If your child has food allergies, we suggest that you book a DIY party and bring your own food, beverages, and cake. That said, you are more than welcome to book one of our regular party packages and bring in your own additional food. We will do our best to accommodate children with food allergies, please let us know how we can assist you when booking your party.

Are parents allowed to participate in the birthday party activities?
Parents are welcome to attend the party. Up to two adult chaperones can participate in the birthday party activities. Additional adult chaperones that would like to participate in food, batting cages or mini golf will count as additional participants of the party.

How does the birthday party schedule run?
This depends on the type of package you select. For our deluxe package, pizza will be served 45 minutes after the party has started and cake will be served 30 minutes prior to the end of the party. We can also combine Pizza/Cake into the same activity. Because of limitations, we cannot serve food at the beginning of the party.

Can I do a DIY Moon Bounce party?
Currently, we only offer DIY packages for Miniature Golf, Batting Cages, or SkatePark.

Do you require waiver forms for SkatePark birthday parties?
Completed waiver forms are required for all participants of SkatePark parties, and must be signed by the child's parent/guardian. When you book the party, we will provide you with waiver forms and a tracking sheet. Please be sure that all forms are filled out neatly, completely, and correctly! We can not admit participants who do not have completed forms.

Can I combine SkatePark with any other activity?
Though the SportsPark and SkatePark are located next to each other, the facilities operate with different staff and on different schedules. Due to scheduling and staffing constraints, SkatePark parties can not be combined with any SportsPark activities.

Come to the Sports Park!
Check out our Hours and Events Calendar to make sure we are open. Then, come over to the SportsPark during normal business hours to book your party. You will fill out a Birthday Party Contract at the SportsPark.

Make it Yours
Pick a date and time, choose a party package, and give us an estimate of the number of kids attending.

Book It!
Bring cash, check or credit card. To book the party, you must sign the birthday contract and pay the deposit amount (which is the price for the first 10 children at the party).
